In one of my many moments of self-absorption, I forgot to mention a few of the Humbaba events (whose name is hugeness) of the last few months: my older brother Mark graduated from UCSD with his film degree, My sister-in-law Jennifer got married to Brian Adams on September 6th and my brother Zac got married on September 12th. Also, my cousin Becca is pregnant. Hooray for babies that I can love and appreciate without having to actually have them!

Time for our semi-annual posting

I've decided that it is time for our semi-annual posting. Redundancy alert! I just rewrote the title into a complete sentence. Since the last posting I've finished the hardest thing I've ever done (getting my masters degree...I haven't had a very hard life), I've begun a new job as a Core Humanities discussion leader (the papers are the bane of my existence), we've gotten a smart, sweet and adorable new yorkie/poodle puppy named Story, Jordan has begun his very last semester at UNR, and we've begun house hunting. Right now we are torn between a two-bedroom in a culdesac with a really nice backyard and a pool and park membership that needs a bit of work, and a really cute three bedroom house with an awesome floor plan that doesn't need quite so much...um...TLC. We are currently accepting any donations from those who would like to house the underpaid as my wages are less than the cost of some iphone applications. Woe to me.
